A grand antique Edwardian coiled snake ring from the early 20ThCentury fashioned in 18ct gold with a trilogy of old European cut diamonds running down the serpents head. The stones weigh approx. 0.40ct, 0.20ct and 0.10ct 0.70ct total.

Serpent rings became popular in the Victorian era, after Prince Albert gifted the young queen Victoria with a serpent ring during their courtship. The snake came to symbolise an enduring love and friendship with its coiled shape representing eternity.

Its in excellent condition and complete with Birmingham hallmarks within which date the piece to 1914.
