An exquisite antique Georgian cable link chain from the early 19th Century made up of pinchbeck links gilded in 18ct yellow gold.
Each link is detailed with a star pattern and leads to a large 18ct gold box clasp in the shape of a hand which may have been added over time.
It measures 45 inches in length and can be worn as one long chain or looped twice around the neck.
