Description
A pretty antique Victorian butterfly brooch encrusted with a gorgeous collection of Bohemian garnets with a blazing red glow beneath their dark surface. The garnets are rose cut across the wings with larger cabochons making up the body and head.
The stones are set in a gold composite, also known as garnet gold and fitted with a new pin and safety catch. Its remained in pristine condition from the late 19th Century and is highly collectable.
