Description
An exquisite antique Victorian bangle from the late 19th century depicting a belt with a buckle on the front, decorated with blue enamel stripes and five pearls.
Bucklemotifs were popular in the Victorian era as their infinite loop and secure buckle symbolised eternal love and a strong unbreakable bond.
The round face opens up at the front and reveals a concealed locket underneath. Its complete with a glass window and would be the perfect place to insert a cherished photograph of a loved one.
The bangle is fashioned entirely in 18ct gold with ornate, chased patterning running around the outer band. Its a wonderful antique treasure and held securely around the wrist by a box clasp at the side.
