Description
A beautiful antique Victorian locket fashioned in 15ct gold with scrolling, foliate artistry chased across both sides as well as two forget me nots which were a popular motif representing love and remembrance.
The locket is double-sided and is complete with two sets of windows, one of which includes a photograph of a young child belonging to a previous owner. More windows can be added as well so that four photographs can be displayed.
It was clearly very dear to its original owner and has remained in pristine condition from the late 19th Century.
