A delightful antique Victorian locket featuring a fabulous three-dimensional dove flying out from the centre carrying a branch underneath. It is modelled in Silver and encrusted with Diamonds and Pearls.
Doves are known as the Love bird as they are known to mate for life. The depiction of one carrying an Olive branch has long been a symbolic image of peace and freedom.
The glistening Dove stands out over a deep black Onyx stone which is set in a decorative frame haloed with Pearls. It is all solid 18ct Yellow Gold and opens up at the back with a fitted rim and window within.
