A pretty antique Victorian locket ring from the late 19th Century featuring a heart shaped locket at the front, topped with a pearl studded forget me not.
An old German tale tells of two lovers walking by a river. After picking a bouquet of blue flowers for his loved one the man fell into the river and was swept away crying out Forget me not before he vanished. These beautiful flowers have been known by this name ever since and are a powerful symbol of enduring love and remembrance.
The piece is all 9ct gold with a secure catch and room to insert a small photograph within. Its in excellent condition and would make a perfect gift for a loved one.
