Description
A spectacular stag beetle brooch with articulated legs, wings and mandibles decorated with blue sapphires and glistening rose cut diamonds.
The three largest sapphires are claw set along the head and weigh approx. 0.60ct 0.40ct (approx. 3ct in total). The diamonds have been expertly pave set along the body and wings and total to approx. 3ct as well.
The piece is fashioned in 18ct gold and silver with fine milgrain detailing across the front and a secure pin and safety lock clasp at the back along with a loop so it can also be worn as a pendant.
