Description
This fabulous lavaliere necklace is adorned alternating green peridots, violet amethysts and white brilliant-cut diamonds with a pear-cut peridot dropper dangling from the bottom.
The combination of gemstone colours was often used to show support for the womens Suffrage movement in the early 20th Century and symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The stones are mounted in 9ct yellow gold links along the bottom and join a long 9ct cable chain, measuring 18 inches. Its a stunning necklace with a wonderful assortment of coloured gems.
