A wonderful Memento Mori style ring depicting skull and crossbones with glistening rose cut diamond eyes (approx. 0.08ct each).
Such macabre imagery was common in Memento Mori jewellery, which literally translates as Remember you will die. The morbid themes were not a celebration of death, rather a reminder to live your life well.
Its modelled entirely in shining 15ct gold and is a wonderful statement piece.
